Tailored access to over 40 online training modules
Small enterprises can access customized courses designed to develop key skills necessary for business expansion. Topics include marketing strategies, social media optimization, employee experience, and cybersecurity measures.
Expert mentorship opportunities Verizon’s platform offers free guidance from industry professionals who assist entrepreneurs in navigating their markets and building resilience.

Grant eligibility and application From October 12 to December 20, eligible small businesses can apply for grants of $10,000. To qualify, applicants must sign up on the Verizon Digital Ready portal and complete at least two of three activities: courses, coaching, or community events.

Who can participate? Small businesses must complete at least two activities and submit an application for consideration. Priority is given to historically underserved communities. Notification process Selected recipients will be contacted via email by LISC. Any failed contact attempts result in disqualification and replacement eligibility.
Application tips Before applying, verify eligibility, adhere to laws, maintain regular audits, prioritize direct costs (85%), and provide detailed use of IT assets when necessary, especially if exceeding 20% of direct costs.
Additional information Verizon also offers educational grants for K-12 digital skills programs, excluding hardware unless authorized. Funding may be denied for certain organizations like private charities, religious groups (not benefitting the broader community), political entities, or recurring grant recipients beyond a yearly gap.
