New Apple iPhone 12 Mini: Features, Accessories, and Variants

During Apple’s recent one-hour event, the spotlight was on the new iPhone 12 series, which includes impressive features and powerful processors. The lineup consists of the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max, and iPhone 12 Mini, all set to launch soon.

The iPhone 12 Mini stands out as the smallest and lightest 5G-enabled device, featuring a 5.4-inch display. While smaller than other models, it’s larger than the iPhone SE with its 4.7-inch screen.

The main distinction is the absence of Touch ID in the Mini. Despite its compact size, it offers high-end features similar to the iPhone 12, powered by the A14 Bionic chip—Apple claims it’s the first built on a five-nanometer process with a six-core CPU and four-core GPU, making it 50% faster than previous models. Battery performance has also been optimized.

In terms design, the iPhone 12 Mini shares a structure similar to the iPhone 12. It boasts Ceramic Shield glass for enhanced drop resistance and a stunning Super Retina XDR display for better visuals. Accessories like MagSafe wallets, silicone cases, and MagSafe chargers can be purchased separately to elevate the experience.

The device runs on iOS 14, supports 4G and 5G networks, and is available in storage options of 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB. It comes in five colors: green, blue, (PRODUCT)RED, white, and black. Pre-orders start on November 6, with in-store sales beginning November 13. The starting price is $729, with special discounts for Verizon and AT&T users.
