Dodge continues to excite automotive enthusiasts with its powerful lineup of muscle cars, and the upcoming Dodge Barracuda is no exception. Inspired by the classic 1971 Plymouth Barracuda, this new model bears resemblance to a refreshed Dodge Charger. The Barracuda name, cherished for over a decade, remains a symbol of American muscle car heritage.

Potentially replacing the Dodge Challenger, the latest Barracuda is designed to be more compact, lightweight, and quicker. While the specific chassis details are uncertain, Dodge is unlikely to adopt Alfa Romeo’s rear-wheel-drive architecture for this model.

The redesigned Barracuda features a more rigid, smaller chassis while maintaining its classic rear-wheel unibody configuration. It will be approximately 600 pounds lighter than previous versions, enhancing agility and performance. Its rear unibody setup will include dual exhaust outlets, delivering an exhilarating engine growl reminiscent of a roaring predator.

Externally, the Barracuda will showcase a lower stance and a narrower profile. Inside, it will comfortably seat four occupants and boast the latest in-car technology for enhanced driving comfort.
